As a little girl in Central Illinois, there were three things I dreamed of doing when I grew up. Live in Chicago, dance, and write. Check, check, and check. I blended those into a career as a Windy City-based, arts-and-culture writer. Whether previewing a world premiere, penning a review, celebrating a milestone or retirement, creating editorial for a program book, or writing a feature about a particular artist, I love highlighting the amazing arts/dance scene in my city.
